Meet our kind, powerful and intuitive Jess. Jess is a BIG yes to everything PYC Mississauga, she is always showing up for her community , her fellow teachers and her students. Jess leads with her whole heart, listening generously and always holding space for everyone to be their authentic selves. Jess’s classes are full of love, support, strength & restoration. Jess is passionate about supporting people through yoga and you can feel it in the way she teaches. 

  • How many years have you been teaching / practicing?

    I started practicing yoga just a year before diving into my 200hr teacher training — and I’ve been teaching for over 2 years now!

  • Why you love to teach? 

    What keeps me coming back to teaching? The connections I get to make before and after class, and the moments when students truly drop into their bodies and realize what they’re capable of. It’s powerful to witness. 

  • What students can expect from your class? 

    Whether we’re flowing through Power, Deep Flow, or melting into Yin, one thing stays the same: I’ll always bring you back to your breath. Because when we focus on our breath, everything else begins to shift.

  • Your favourite yoga pose? 

    My favorite pose? Trikonasana (Triangle) — it makes me feel grounded, strong, and open all at once.

  • 3 words a friend would use to describe you? 

    My friends would probably say I’m passionate, ambitious, uplifting, and always down for a heart-to-heart (or a deep stretch ).
